SutraLene is a non-absorbable polypropylene monofilament suture, dyed blue to enhance visibility. This suture has optimal handling properties, such as: a smooth uniform surface to allow for effortless passage through tissue, high initial tensile strength, and secure knot holding. SutraLene is useful in soft tissue approximation and/or ligation ophthalmic surgical procedures.
